About Novatus

Novatus is a digital game storefront built for developers who use AI tools in their workflow, and for players who are curious about — or indifferent to — how a game was made.

Established platforms have increasingly rejected or de-listed games with AI-generated assets under vague, inconsistently applied policies. This punishes developers without protecting players. Novatus takes a different position: AI is a tool, and what matters is the game.

What we do differently

• AI-generated art, writing, audio, code, and gameplay are explicitly permitted.
• Disclosure is a developer tool, not a compliance checkbox. Developers who want to market their AI use can add optional tags. There is no mandatory AI disclosure that can be weaponised for review bombing.
• An optional Human-Crafted badge is available for developers who want to signal no AI was used.
• DRM-free by default. Files you purchase are yours to keep.
• 85% revenue to developers, 15% platform fee.

What we prohibit

• Illegal content.
• IP infringement — stolen assets are prohibited regardless of whether they were AI-generated or human-made.
• Malware or hidden executables.
• Asset-flip spam, low effort slop — games must include a gameplay video showing real playable content.
